Department Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in 2003. The dept. provides a platform for grooming youth into creative professionals so that they get excellent job opportunities in a challenging environment. Computer Science Engineers are the backbone of any industrial and commercial application worldwide.

The curriculum is updated regularly to keep in line with the growing demands and the changing trends of the software industry and research laboratories. The students are exposed to core Computer Science areas like Programming, Network, IT Architecture, Theory, Logic and Web. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has a high speed internet facility. The department tries to create an intellectually stimulating learning environment and encourages mentoring the students by its competent faculty members. Several of its faculty members have rich industrial experience and this helps the students to get the right balance of theory and practice. Our graduates have excellent academic achievements, communication skills and they are also placed at MNCs and other IT companies across the world.

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science!

I extend a warm welcome to all students and their parents to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In today's world, Computer Science and Engineering are crucial. We are dedicated to providing our students with a strong technical education as well as the leadership skills needed to create employment opportunities for others.

In computer science, you will learn and apply knowledge to understand the nature of computers, how to program them, the tools to write programs, the rules for translating written programs into computer language, the interface between computers and users, computer graphics, computer networking, software database management, software engineering, and testing, among other areas. Our department also emphasizes critical aspects such as high-speed networks, soft computing, algorithm design, network security, advanced database systems, and the theory of computation. We also focus on improving our students' soft skills, analytical capabilities, and verbal communication to ensure they can confidently face corporate competition.

We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity. Our resources and support services aim to help students excel both academically and personally. We focus on developing both technical and soft skills, preparing our students to face industry challenges with confidence.
