Bachelor of technology in Data Science is a new engineering program aiming to create experts in the domain of Data Science. This programme has roots in computer science engineering specially designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software or application with a cutting edge combination of machine learning, analytics and visualization technologies.
In our department we not only give emphasis on study but also make students ready for industry with practical expertise in Data Science. The department currently offers a 4 year B-tech programme in the engineering stream under the affiliation of KTU with sanctioned intake of 60 from the academic 2023-2024.
The aim of this course is to produce graduate who are well versed with theoretical knowledge and the skill set to address all aspects of creating, managing, processing and converting data to knowledge. The laboratorial setup and the intellectual resources of the department will deliver the best of Data Science and make our students as profound data scientists.
