Research and Development (R&D) cell in IESCE serve as vital hub for fostering innovation, research culture, and collaboration between academia and industry.

Purpose and Objectives

R&D cell in IESCE aim to:

Promote research culture among faculty and students

Bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications

Facilitate industry-academia collaboration

Secure funding for research projects

Enhance the institution's reputation and accreditation status

Key Functions

Research Promotion: R&D cell identify emerging research areas, encourage faculty to pursue doctoral programs, and support students in undertaking research projects beyond their regular curriculum.

Funding Support: R&D cell help faculty and students prepare proposals for funding agencies like DST, AICTE, CSIR, DBT, and industry sponsors. They also manage the administration of funded projects.

Infrastructure Development: R&D cell work to establish and maintain research laboratories, acquire specialized equipment, and create collaborative research spaces.

Publications and IP: R&D cell encourage publication in reputed journals and conferences, assist with patent filing processes, and help protect intellectual property rights.

Industry Linkages: R&D cell facilitate consultancy projects, joint research initiatives, and technology transfer arrangements with industries.
