(1)A seminar on “Adavance in geotechniques for infrastructure Development was organized on 22/07/2017.The resourced person was Dr.Sudheesh M K,IIT Palakkad.

(2)An MOU was signed between I.E.S College of engineering and CAD CENTER.Indian Education Enterprises (P) limited having its head office at Ernamkulam.

(3) A one day workshop on “GIS TECHNIQUES” By Geoinformatics Institute For the resource development (CSRD wing) was conducted on 19 Th October 2017 from 02.00 pm to 4.15 pm at IES College of Engineering, chittilappily, Thrissur. Workshop was conducted for B.tech third and fourth year students.

(4) Technical talk conducted on Bituminous mix design on 14/08/2017 the resourced persons were Muhammed Aatif, Structural Engineer, Esthet Designers & Builders.

(5) Technical talk was organized by association of civil engineering on “ recent developments in geotechnical engineering” on 31/10/2017 and 10/11/2017.the resourced persons were Dr. Vinod P (professor ,GEC Thrissur) and Dr. Beena  K.S(Professor, CUSAT).

(6) Expert talk conducted onAdvancements in Environment Engineering and Concrete Technology by Mr.D Radhakrishnana, ME,Structural & chattered engineer, Elite builders, krishn on 10/9/2017.

(7) Demonstration of Advance Experiments in Civil Engineering conducted on 3/10/2017 by Sandeep M N,Neena K P Assistant Professor Dept. of Civil IES College of Engineering.

(8) A project Exhibition ECCENTA 2017 for B.Tech students and Project competition INNOVICS 2017 for +2 students was conducted on 16/11/2017.
